From November 27 to 29, Sirius will host the final of the first All-Russian competition Your Move
From November 27 to 29, Sirius will host the final of the first All-Russian competition Your Move of the presidential platform Russia – Land of Opportunities. Its participants will be 1 thousand students from 76 regions. They will have to design the university of the future.
“The site will also bring together heads of Russian universities, specialists from youth affairs agencies and partners of the competition. More than 250 volunteers from different regions of Russia will help in holding the events, “said Alexei Agafonov, Deputy Director General of the autonomous non-profit organization Russia – Country of Opportunities.
The finalists of the “Your Move” competition will have to think over and design the university of the future. Participants will be assigned to eight faculties of their choice: Career, Science, Special Opportunity, Security, Sustainable Development, Travel, Future Education, and Relationships and Mental Health. At the faculties, the contestants will work in teams.
“In the final, the participants of the competition will be able to express their ideas and ideas about what the university of the future should be like. What opportunities the university can give for development, self-realization, building a career, how safe, environmentally friendly and comfortable it should be for students of all social groups. Today these are the main requests from young people. We believe that the best students of the country who have done a great job and reached the final stage of “Your Move” can provide non-standard, interesting, but at the same time ambitious solutions to these mega-challenges. With the support and co-authorship of the pedagogical community, experienced managers and partners of the competition, the finalists of Your Khod will work in Sirius on the formula for an ideal university, ”said Grigory Gurov, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
The program of the final of the competition “Your Move” will also include lectures from experts and partners, workshops and laboratory work. The work of the participants will be supervised by professionals. On the days of the finals, students will also be able to visit extra-curricular centers: careers, leadership and co-management, sports and recreation, lifelong learning, as well as an art center and a media workshop.
According to the results of the All-Russian student competition “Your Khod”, 200 winners will be named who will receive bonuses in the amount of 1 million rubles. These funds can be used for training, launching a start-up or improving housing conditions.
The All-Russian student competition “Your Khod” is being held for the first time. It is organized by the autonomous non-profit organization “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, Rosmolodezh and the National League of Student Clubs with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
