This was announced by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, Head of the Operational Headquarters for Controlling and Monitoring the Coronavirus Situation in Moscow.

“A week ago, on November 15, we opened the possibility of submitting an application for express testing in public places in electronic format on the website or in the application“ EMIAS.INFO ”. In just a week, the service has won the trust of Muscovites – 92 percent of those taking a rapid test for COVID-19 prefer to fill out an application online rather than on paper. And this is not surprising – the service is convenient and saves time. During the week, Muscovites submitted an online application more than 40 thousand times and saved more than 3 thousand hours in total, ”said Anastasia Rakova.

In the application, you must indicate the full name, details of the identity document, or the policy number of SNILS or OMS, date of birth, gender, telephone number and address of actual residence. After entering the information, the system will issue a special QR code of the application – you just need to show it to the administrator at the express testing point. You can take the test after filling out the application electronically within two days, not counting the day the application was submitted. Also, using the QR code of the application on the spot, you can get the result of express testing within 15-20 minutes. In addition, the results of express tests are available to residents of the capital in an electronic medical record.

Citizens can still fill out an application for an express test right on the spot.

Anyone can make such an express test free of charge. To do this, you only need a passport or an international passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, or a passport of a foreign citizen, or a residence permit – for an adult, a birth certificate – for a child, or an OMS policy number, SNILS, if available. Children can undergo express testing only in the presence of their parents. Residents who test positive for a rapid test will have a control PCR test taken on the spot and asked to stay at home until a PCR test result is received. He will come in SMS, and will also be displayed in the electronic medical record. If the result of the PCR test is positive, the case will be considered confirmed. A doctor from a polyclinic will come to the patient's home, prescribe treatment and give out the necessary medications. If the result of the PCR test is negative and if there are no symptoms of the disease, the person is considered healthy.

A rapid test for antigen to coronavirus infection is a quick diagnosis that allows COVID-19 to be detected in a person with a high degree of probability in 15 minutes , however, its result does not mean a diagnosis, but only shows the likelihood of the disease. The diagnosis of “coronavirus infection” must be made by a medical professional by performing PCR testing. Express testing is carried out using the same technology (taking a swab from the nose) as PCR, but to obtain the result, the biomaterial is immediately placed in a specialized solution and a test system.
