Military historian allowed a short and bloody war between Russia and Ukraine

Historian Norin: the result of a hypothetical war between Russia and Ukraine will result in thousands of deceased Ukraine. The Telegram channel Radiotochka NSN writes about this.

In his opinion, the armed conflict will be short, but bloody. He admitted that the development of events “will resemble an enlarged copy of the” five-day war “with Georgia.” The result of this war will be “several thousand dead in a few days, a maximum of a week”, despite the fact that the Ukrainian army is superior to the Georgian one.

Norin noted that so far he does not see the prerequisites for such a clash. However, the expert added, “you have to understand that there are not very sane people on the Ukrainian side now, and anything can happen.”
