The Federation Council spoke about more than 100 acts of US interference in the affairs of other countries

Klimov accused the United States of committing 100 acts of interference in the sovereign affairs of other countries

The United States has committed over 100 acts of gross interference in the sovereign affairs of more than 60 countries since the adoption of the UN Charter, which enshrined the principle of non-interference. This was stated by the head of the ad hoc committee of the Federation Council for the protection of state sovereignty and prevention of interference in the internal affairs of Russia, Andrei Klimov, writes TASS.

He noted that we are talking about the countries of Europe, Asia, Latin America. “So it can be said almost as a joke that the only state in whose internal affairs the United States certainly did not interfere is the United States of America itself. And everything else was not forgotten by them, “Klimov specified.

According to him, at the beginning of the 21st century, Washington planned to change the political system in 50 states by 2030. This was said on April 12, 2005, the head of the interim commission stressed.

At the same time, he recalled that the Summit for Democracy initiated by the United States is scheduled for December 9. Moreover, this date is the date of the 30th anniversary of the adoption by the UN General Assembly of Declaration No. 36103 on the inadmissibility of intervention and interference in the internal affairs of countries. At the moment, this is the main international document on the corresponding global problem. “It is written here in black and white that no state or group of states has the right to intervene or interfere in any form or for any reason in the internal affairs of states,” concluded Klimov.

Earlier he said that the United States has lost some of its partners, and their number continues to decline. In addition, the country has become weaker and has practically lost its leverage over Russia. It is no longer capable of holding back the development of the state, said the head of the temporary commission of the Federation Council.
