Russian schoolchildren set a record at the International Olympiad in Astrophysics

Ministry of Education: Russians set a record at the Olympiad in astrophysics in Colombia th International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Education “Big Change”.

In total, the Russians won eight gold and two silver medals. The absolute winner in the competition was Maxim Permyakov from the Republican Lyceum for Gifted Children in Mordovia.

Ilya Bespyaty, Elisey Zhdanov, Ilya Prosyanoy, Danila Shkinderov also won gold medals, and Andrey Azhakin became the silver medalist. Ekaterina Bobkova, Alexey Zhivin, Victoria Krasotkina and Maxim Permyakov won gold for the guest team, and Maxim Ramenskiy won a silver medal.

In October, Russian schoolchildren received two gold and two silver medals at the International Olympiad in Mathematics (Romanian Master of Mathematics ).

The competition was held in the capital of Romania, Bucharest. It was attended by 135 people from 22 countries. It is specified that the team representing Russia passed the Olympiad tests remotely at the site of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen.
