Nikolai Kopytov was suspected of taking bribes worth 10 million rubles and was arrested. This is reported by Kommersant.

According to the investigation, two years ago Kopylov received money and a coffee machine from representatives of the Spetsshveisnab company (OOO SShS), which supplied the form for the Russian Guard, for concluding additional contracts for almost 2 billion rubles. According to the newspaper, the colonel himself is already cooperating with the investigation, but how exactly is unknown.

It is noted that the facts of corruption were revealed during the investigation into the overstatement of prices by the SShS LLC for the Rosgvardia uniform. At the same time, the company itself claims that the cost of the uniform was even lower than the market one, and it itself is being eliminated from the market as a dangerous competitor.

On November 19, Viktor Samarin, head of the anti-crisis management department of the Moscow Emergencies Ministry, accused of taking a bribe, was sent under House arrest. Colonel Andrei Mishchenko, the first deputy head of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow, was detained together with Samarin. Both detainees received a bribe of 50 thousand rubles, but their affairs are not related to each other.
