Popular European country has closed borders for all tourists

The Austrian authorities are closing borders for foreign tourists from November 22 due to the lockdown borders for all foreign tourists. This was reported on the website of the Austrian Tourism Office.

It is noted that the ban on tourist trips to the popular European country will be in effect until December 3. Next, the authorities will assess the epidemiological situation and, if it worsens, will extend the entry restrictions until December 10.

According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), Austria is also changing the rules of entry for foreigners. So, from November 22, Russians will no longer be able to visit the country with a serological test for antibodies.

Earlier in November, a lockdown was introduced in Austria for citizens unvaccinated from coronavirus. According to Chancellor Alexander Schallenber, those unvaccinated against COVID-19 will only be able to leave their homes to shop for groceries and essentials, as well as to work and walk.
