Head of Crimea Aksenov: Minister of Culture of the Republic of Novoselskaya has been dismissed

Minister of Culture of Crimea Arina Novoselskaya, who is accused of accepting a large bribe resign due to loss of confidence. This was stated by the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov in the Telegram channel.

“I signed a decree on the dismissal of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Arina Vadimovna Novoselskaya due to the loss of confidence,” he wrote on Monday, November 22.

According to the investigation, in 2018 Novoselskaya received 25 million rubles from the owner of the Meander company for patronage during the construction of the Crimean State Center for Children's Theatrical Arts.

The Minister of Culture of the peninsula was accused of part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Taking a bribe on an especially large scale”). She was detained on November 18.
