Evidence found for sexual harassment of ex-head of New York

CNN: Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Found Guilty of Sexual Harassment Andrew Cuomo was guilty of sexual harassment, which he committed, including in office. CNN writes about this with reference to a document published by the Assembly.

This is the conclusion reached by the authors of the report, independent investigators from the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell. 11 women have made accusations against the ex-head of state.

In addition, the report examines other accusations against Cuomo. Among them are discrepancies in statistics on the number of deaths in nursing homes (related to COVID-19), in which the governor may be involved.

In early August, the state attorney general's office also confirmed that the ex-governor harassed assistants. Then his resignation was demanded by the mayor of New York, as well as a number of US and state senators and congressmen – both Republicans and Democrats. The New York parliament planned to introduce a resolution to impeach Cuomo, but he left office himself.
