Muscovites who bought QR codes rushed to private clinics for real vaccinations

Forbes: Muscovites with purchased QR codes rushed to private clinics for vaccinations purchased certificates and QR codes about vaccinations rushed for real vaccinations. This is reported by Forbes magazine, citing a source close to the Ministry of Health.

According to the interlocutor of the publication, in public hospitals, owners of purchased certificates cannot be vaccinated, due to the fact that their data has already been entered in the federal register about vaccination. If there is already a record, then doctors give a second injection only after six months, so Muscovites turn to private clinics.

In one of the commercial medical networks in the capital, they said that recently they have received applications for vaccinations from patients who bought certificates. Such people are vaccinated without making any changes to the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System of the City of Moscow (UMIAS). In this case, the patient pays only for the appointment of the therapist, but not for the vaccination. QR codes of such patients will be valid only during the period of their purchased certificate.

According to Forbes, another non-governmental clinic said that people with a purchased vaccination certificate are not vaccinated.

At the request of the publication, the social network Physicians of the Russian Federation conducted a survey among 30 therapists of private clinics. Four of them said that they had faced vaccination of people who bought a certificate, 21 people replied that this was not the case in their practice, seven said that “such cases were excluded” due to checks of the federal register.

At the same time five doctors answered that only a few patients apply to them with such a request, one person reported hundreds of requests, and 26 respondents answered that their medical institutions had not received such requests. When asked if doctors had acquaintances who bought certificates of vaccination against coronavirus, 14 people answered positively.

Earlier, the head of the Gamaleya Center, Alexander Gintsburg, spoke about criminal liability for forging certificates of vaccination against COVID-19. Gunzburg cited the example of European legislation, according to which for falsifying documents that indicate the presence of those vaccinations that are allowed in the European Union (EU), six years in prison are imposed.
