MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. The Secretary of security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev laid wreaths and flowers on the Piskarevsky memorial cemetery in St. Petersburg to honour the memory of the citizens who died during the great Patriotic war. About it reported in a press-service SB of the Russian Federation.

Celebrations these days are held in different locations in St. Petersburg and in the Leningrad region associated with the memory of the war and the blockade. In the city and region organized concerts, reconstructions, interactive projects that enable young people to learn more about the battle for Leningrad in 1941-1944.

Later that day, the participation in several events will take Russian President Vladimir Putin.
