“Mail of Russia” has suspended the sale of beer
Post offices stopped selling beer indefinitely. The reason for this decision is called “negative public reaction,” said TASS, the representatives of “Mail of Russia”.
The implementation of low-alcohol beverages at post offices was associated with the need to increase the profitability of their work, especially in rural areas. The Governor of the Murmansk region Marina Kovtun informed also appealed to the government to start selling drugs through the offices of “Mail of Russia”, as in remote areas do not have enough pharmacies, but the health Ministry did not support this idea.
