According to the newspaper, this is the third such tunnel discovered in the last month. According to police, the length of this tunnel is about 10 meters.
“This is the third tunnel that was discovered last month amid the partial closure of Federal agencies and against the backdrop of fierce debate about the proposal of the President (of the USA Donald) trump to build a wall along the US border and Mexico,” writes The Hill.

The Democrats who won the majority in the house of representatives on the results of the November elections and are ready to allocate no more than 1.3 billion of additional funds.
Shutdown broke on Saturday, the historical record duration. The longest shutdown to date occurred in December 1995 — January 1996 and lasted 21 days. The current shutdown, which lasts from 22 December 2018, lasts for 22 days as of Saturday, January 12.
