Moscow. January 9. INTERFAX.RU — IN the General security service of Israel (Shabak) said Wednesday of readiness to prevent possible interference in the upcoming elections to the Knesset, reports the Associated Press.
“The Shin bet wanted to make it clear that the state of Israel and its intelligence agencies have the means and capabilities to track, identify and prevent any attempt to influence (on the election — if) from abroad”, — said the Shin bet.
The Agency notes that the statement was released amid media reports that the head of the Shin bet — Nadav Argaman told the associates about trying an unnamed foreign state to intervene with the help of cyber technologies in the April elections.
