Modern architecture does not have to be boring. Totally agree with that in an architectural office Henning Larsen Architects. The company has released images of a residential complex in the form of a wave built on the shore in the Danish city of Vejle.

The total area of the complex, which consists of five buildings, with 14 thousand square meters. It’s construction began in 2006, but in 2008 construction was suspended due to the global financial crisis.
The incompleteness has not prevented the building to attract the attention of international experts, who evaluated the project, and even awarded him a victory in the prestigious Civic Trust Award competition. It was the first architectural prize of Denmark in this competition for 50 years. The object returned only in 2015 and December 2018 the project is completed.
Home-wave is inscribed in the landscape. By day its white walls reflected in the water, and at night curved silhouette creates the illusion of mountains.
