Upon reflection, gross decided to combine these two themes and created a fun series of works, turning the people in the photographs of the XIX century in comic book characters. So black-and-white old photos colour and got new life.

Gross so I liked the idea of “restoration” of old photos that he got carried away and made 98 paintings, which were exhibited in several art galleries and sold in the form of printed posters.
