MOSCOW, 5 Dec. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday awarded the Anton Korotchenko from the Smolensk region, who received the title of Volunteer of Russia — 2018. The head of state took part in the ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition “Volunteer of Russia — 2018” in the ice Palace in the Park of Legends.

Korotchenko is the author of the project “Healthy village”. In this project, the volunteers, the staff of the clinical departments and the residents of the Smolensk state medical University go to the villages and provide medical care, lectures on healthy lifestyles to local residents, said the organizing Committee of the year of the volunteer.
