Due to the weak light of the moon the night rainbow is quite difficult to discern — it seems white and more dull than usual day. As a rule, the most brilliant lunar rainbow with the naked eye can be seen when the moon is full.

And, of course, necessary that the light of the moon reflected off the water droplets, so this phenomenon is most often seen near waterfalls. There are usually “on duty” photographers in pursuit of unusual frames.

Recall that recently in Swedish Lapland photographer managed to capture a very rare phenomenon — the simultaneous appearance of the sky the moonlight rainbow and Northern lights.
