In Crimea, arrested the detained Ukrainian sailors

The Kiev district court of Simferopol chose a measure of restraint for a further nine Ukrainian sailors, who were detained on November 25 in the Kerch Strait on two artillery boats and towed for illegally crossing the Russian border.

According to “Kommersant” from a court hall, the petition of the Deputy chief of the investigative Department of the FSB of Russia in the Crimea on their arrest till January, 25 was granted.

Today was arrested the captain of the second rank Denis Gritsenko (the commander of the expedition, whose parents live in Simferopol) and senior sailor Yuri Bezhyazichniy who went to the Kerch Strait on a boat “Berdyansk”. The commander MBAC “Nikopol” Lieutenant Bogdan Fiction, a member of his command senior sailor Vyacheslav Zinchenko and the employee of SBU Andriy Drach, who at the time of arrest was on the boat.

The commander of the Harbor tugs “Yana Kapu” Sergeant Oleg Melnychuk (he requested the presence at trial of a translator from Ukrainian into Russian language, which was given to him), Eugene sailor Semidotsky. In addition, until January 25, was arrested the captain of the 3rd rank Vladimir Lisovoy (a native of Sebastopol, whose parents live in Yalta) and warrant officer Andrei Shevchenko.

On the eve of a court in Simferopol has chosen the same measure in relation to 12 military. Three of the wounded sailors who are in the hospital Kerch, were arrested by local municipal court. The Ukrainian military is suspected of committing a crime under part 3 of article 322 of the criminal code (illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation by a group of persons on preliminary arrangement). They face up to six years in prison. The sailors placed in the Simferopol SIZO.
