Four water tornado scared tourists in Thailand

Four water tornado appeared simultaneously off the coast of Koh Lipe in southern Thailand.
The campers were scared. From early morning on the coast the weather was excellent, the sky was no clouds. Then within a few minutes everything changed dramatically: strong wind arose, he brought rain clouds. Along with them appeared and water tornadoes.

Water tornadoes is air-water vortices appearing above the water surface. The upper part they are connected with Cumulus cloud.
Such vortices are found mainly in tropical latitudes. In the Andaman sea they are often observed in the rainy season. However, more than three tornadoes at the same time appear very rarely. Waterspout “lives” only about 15-30 minutes.
