Photographer from Edinburgh Iarla Flynn took off in the skies over Scotland, a large flock of starlings, which in a few seconds formed the shape of a hedgehog.

Flynn managed to catch the moment when the Moon was in place of the eyes “hedgehog”.

The picture was taken near Gretna, approximately 100 miles from Edinburgh, where the photographer comes in during the last nine years to watch the dancing starlings. According to his estimates, sealed pack has about 60 thousand birds.

It is believed that starlings gather in large flocks to keep predators such as the peregrine Falcon. The pack has a dynamic structure in which the light falls on each bird on all sides.
