The state Duma adopted the law on electronic military ID
The deputies approved in the third and final reading a bill on the introduction of a personal electronic card of the military account, according to the website of the state Duma.

The amendments are proposed to the law “On military duty and military service”. The map will not replace a military ID and will be issued at the request of servicemen.
As suggested by the authors, the electronic map “will promote certainty in the implementation of the military registration of conscripts, soldiers and citizens being in stock”. It must improve the effectiveness of the system of the military account and to optimize the processes of preparation for military service, its passage and possible mobilization.
The card will contain data on the place of residence of the reservist, his education, place of work, fitness for military service for health reasons, the presence of military occupational specialties and civilian and sports category of the candidate master of sports.
