The Russian Ambassador was summoned to the foreign Ministry of Finland because of the incident with GPS
Moscow. 16 Nov. INTERFAX.RU the Ambassador of Russia in Finland Pavel Kuznetsov was summoned to the Finnish foreign Ministry because of the incident with the GPS functionality, Finnish media reported on Friday with reference to the Minister for foreign Affairs of Finland Timo Soini.

Meeting at the Finnish foreign Ministry will be held on Monday, noted by the media.
Previously the foreign Ministry of Finland reported that talks with Russia through diplomatic channels on the issue of failures in the GPS during the exercises of NATO Trident Juncture.
In the Finnish foreign Ministry stressed that the “credible” Norway provided data on cases of failures in the GPS.
Earlier this week, the Ministry of defense of Norway stated that the Russian side responsible for the failure of operation of GPS during NATO exercise Trident Juncture. The Ministry noted that “interference (in the GPS — if) recorded in the period from 16 October to 7 November and that they are generated by Russian forces on the Kola Peninsula”.
The Prime Minister of Finland, Juha Sipilä reported that the country will be investigated on the possible intervention of Russia in the work of satellite navigation systems GPS in Lapland during the recent NATO military exercises in Norway.
Chairman of the parliamentary Commission for international Affairs Matti Vanhanen said on Friday media reports that “Finland has managed to bring to Russia their message, which says that the military exercises should not threaten the security of civilians”.
