The state Duma adopted a law on pension reform

The state Duma on Thursday passed in the third and final reading the law on pension reform, which provides for the gradual increase in the retirement age by five years to 65 for men and 60 for women.
According to the law, the experience of which gives the right to early retirement for men will be 42 years, for women — 37 years. Cumulative pension will be paid, as in the current retirement age of 55 for women and 60 for men.
The rate of indexation of pensions to retirees to protect their interests and aims to ensure that people who stop working receive a full indexation of pensions during the past period.
Provided for an increase in unemployment benefits for those approaching retirement age. Introduced a preferential treatment of retirement mothers — to 50-57 years. For pensioners remain tax relief on land and property.
The law is directed on consideration to Federation Council. The source said that the upper house will consider the document on 3 October. In case of approval of the senators the document will go to the President of the Russian Federation, which entitled him to sign or reject.
In mid-June 2018, the Russian government approved a gradual increase in the retirement age for women to 63 years for men to 65 years.
The reform of the pension system is scheduled to begin from 2019 to complete — 2034-mu.
