The Minister of education of the Russian Federation endorsed the idea to ban the use of smartphones in schools
Moscow. August 31. INTERFAX.RU — Minister of education of the Russian Federation Olga Vasilyeva found the right idea to ban the use of gadgets in the classroom.
“Here my opinion is: the French did it for a long time, but right we have is the school doing, and we’ll be rewarded. I think sooner or later we will come to the same as French,” — said Vasilyev all-Russian parent meeting.
According to her, in Russia this issue is resolved not by the Department, and themselves educational institutions, and many schools have gone on this path, they created special boxes where you can put a smartphone, parents can, if necessary, contact the teachers. “The question arises, why, if all there is? If you have a fully-equipped classrooms, tablets in the classroom have? They say that we need to work, but they are not necessary”, — the Minister added.
In France, the use of gadgets in the classroom is prohibited at the legislative level to the 9th grade.
