MOSCOW, August 31. /TASS/. Information about banking transactions of the Russian Embassy in the United States hit in the media without the direct support of U.S. intelligence. About this to journalists on Friday, said the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the publication on the Internet portal Buzzfeed confidential information banking transactions of the Russian diplomatic mission.
“Again faced with a situation when the representatives of the American media receive confidential information on the financial operations of our employees, obviously, without the direct support of the US secret services,” – said the diplomat. As said Zakharov, disclosing relevant information, “official Washington in fact is the violation of the secrecy of banking information and the disclosure of personal data that contradicts American law and practice”.
