Mr. Navalny and his defence filed ten motions. The court granted only the petition for interrogation of the witness from the defense side and attached to the administrative case the protest of the protection for too short a time of familiarization with the case (the defense asked to give them two days, as in the case 219 of the leaves, but the court gave 30 minutes).

Alexei Navalny was detained August 26, around the entrance to his house. The action “the strike of the voters” was held on 28 January 2018, its members called to boycott the presidential election.

We will remind, the city authorities refused to hold a September 9 rally of supporters of Alexei Navalny against raising the retirement age. Authorities explained the refusal by saying that the rally will be political and “propaganda” in nature, which is prohibited on election day (September 9, in a single day of voting elections of the mayor of Moscow).
