All nine crew members crashed in Japan helicopter killed

TOKYO, Aug 11 — RIA Novosti. All nine crew members crashed in Japan rescue helicopter was killed, said the Agency Kyodo, citing local authorities.

The helicopter rescue service of the Prefecture of Gunma Prefecture with nine crew members on Board fell Friday in the mountains of Nagano Prefecture.

He took off at 9.15 am local time (3.15 GMT) from the city of Maebashi in the Prefecture for inspection of the climbing routes in the mountains between Gunma and Nagano. At the scheduled time the helicopter pilots had not been in contact.

On Friday afternoon the self-defense forces of Japan were able to detect the wreckage of the helicopter and eight of the nine crew members. The body of the last victim of the crash found Saturday.

The cause of the accident, presumably, began sharply deteriorating weather conditions.
