In 2005 he became a finalist for the award named after Artem Borovik. The author of the book “Chronicles the five-day war” (2008) about the Russian-Georgian-Ossetian military conflict.

Alexander Rastorguev, Director and documentary filmmaker

Born in 1971 in Rostov-on-don. He studied at the philological faculty of the Rostov state University. In 1999 he graduated from the State Academy of theatrical arts in St. Petersburg (1998). He worked as a Director of the STRC “don-TR”. For the filming of the movie “Maundy Thursday” creative team of the film was dismissed by the user “don-TR”. Worked in the St. Petersburg edition of the TV channel NTV. In 2001 he founded the Studio “Cinema”.
