Russia will consider the issue of the transfer of its Embassy in Egypt to the new capital

The Russian Embassy in Cairo can move to the new capital of Egypt by the end of this year, said on Tuesday the newspaper “Izvestia”, citing sources in the Russian diplomatic circles.
“The Russian Federation has received an offer from the Egyptian side regarding the transfer of the Embassy to the end of the year. At the moment this issue is under consideration,” said one of the sources.
As write “news” Egypt to the end of the year plans to complete the construction of the new administrative capital, which will be transferred all government departments. The city has not received an official name, will be located 45 km East of Cairo, which, in turn, will lose capital status.
As the head of information Bureau of Embassy of Egypt in Moscow, Aiman Musa Mustafa, the proposal to representatives of 90 States with Embassy in Cairo was made on the organized Egyptian foreign Minister a special conference.
“There was also presented the future administrative center of the country. To embed diplomats will be provided with a separate block, its construction will be completed by the end of 2018. Transfer of diplomatic missions will be carried out on a voluntary basis”, — said the representative of the Egyptian Embassy.
According to “Izvestia”, the diplomatic mission will be located in a separate area, largely because of security reasons.
