Joke about Putin’s and Erdogan’s restaurant has launched the supply of meat in Turkey
Russia sent to Turkey first batch of beef, announced July 27, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev.
Deliveries began the next day after Russian President Vladimir Putin joked that he would take the offer of a Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to go to a restaurant, when his country will be the Russian meat.
“Turkey is a special market for the consumption of meat products. We still hope that will open the Chinese market for us, there are prospects”, — said the Deputy Prime Minister to journalists during his working trip to the Tver region, reports “RIA Novosti”.
He also noted that in future, Russia plans to reach annual exports of meat products in the amount of 1 million tonnes.
“The question is, in fact, only one — so we can break through administrative barriers used by many countries and governments,” — said Gordeev, expressing confidence that this task will be able to solve during the negotiations.
July 26, during the meeting with the President of Turkey in Johannesburg Vladimir Putin has joked that having dinner with Erdogan. But he did it only on the condition that Turkish restaurants are meat dishes of Russian beef.
