Doctor Roshal: the inevitability of raising the retirement age to understand everything
The head of the National medical chamber believes that any form of discussion is necessary for citizens to understand why there are certain changes.
MOSCOW, July 20. /TASS/. The increase in the retirement age for Russians is inevitable, it is understood by all, however, you need to discuss further the characteristics of this measure. This opinion was expressed on Friday, TASS, the head of the National medical chamber, the President of the Moscow Institute of emergency children’s surgery and traumatology Leonid Roshal.
Earlier on Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that, like most Russians, refers to the idea of raising the retirement age negatively. The head of state noted that without changes, the pension system, followed by the social security system burst. The President reminded that while no final decisions have been made, and promised to consider all the sensible opinions in this discussion.
“The fact that it is inevitable, I understand, but how it should be done, you may want to reconsider,” — said Roshal.
Any form of discussion, according to Roshal, necessary for citizens to understand why there are certain changes. “I support the cautious position of the Council, when given the opportunity to revisit the discussion,” he added.
