Duct tape instead of a bathing suit: the photographer came up with a new Supertrend
American photographer named Joel Alvarez invented a new trend in the fashion industry — electrical tape instead of clothes. It may sound a bit strange but looks very nice.
Recently at the fashion show Miami Swim Week, in which the stage girls came out and showed swimwear from different designers, the audience is the most memorable collection Black Tape Project. This is a small company Alvarez, which sells fashion tape.
It is worth noting that the photographer has no relation to the fashion industry and fashion design, he just sells a special tape of different colors that the girls themselves were able to experiment with her image. The idea to use tape or insulating tape as the outfit came to Alvarez many years ago. Then he started to work as a photographer, and while shooting one girl asked him to stick the tape to her body. Alvarez was absolutely not against it, but the end result is not very pleased.
Subsequently, the man began to practice more and use the tape in many of his subsequent works. The first experiments he started in 2008. Then in the course were just black duct tape.
Today, the brand Black Tape Project sells mainly gold and silver ribbons of different sizes. Indeed, girl is covered in Golden hues, it looks incredibly beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
According to Alvarez, before the creation of the design it took about two hours, and now the photographer managed only a half an hour.
