The United States detonated the launch complex Cape Canaveral

The US air force blew up one of the oldest launch sites for missiles, located at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

Launch complex SLC-17 was built in 1956 to launch the PGM-17 Thor, the first ballistic missile of average radius of action, adopted in the USA in 1958. In the period from 1958 to 2011 was used for launching missiles “Thor”, PH “Delta”, and more recently for launching missiles “Delta-2”.

Currently, the launch complex is leased by the company Moon Express and the appointment is not used. It is reported that the undermining of the towers of pads A and B was carried out, for safety reasons.
