In Kemerovo began the demolition of the shopping centre, “Winter cherry”, machinery clearing the site of debris, reports TASS.
In a press-service of the city administration, the Agency said that July 14 will be dismantled outdoor equipment, and rescue with hydraulic tools that will dismantle the barriers on-site and ventilation equipment on the roof of the shopping center. The special equipment which will deal directly with the analysis of the building will come from Yekaterinburg on July 16.
The fire in the shopping center, which occurred on March 25, 2018, killed 60 people, including 37 children. In the list of victims in the criminal case more than 250 people. After the incident, the emergencies Ministry and the Prosecutor’s office inspected the shopping centers across Russia, the result was a closed one-third of commercial properties.
