A court in Kyiv extended the arrest of Hope Savchenko
Shevchenko district court of Kyiv has extended by two months the detention of a Deputy of Hope Savchenko, which expired on Friday, July 13. About it reports “Interfax”.
“I announce an indefinite hunger strike. I such lawlessness have not seen even in the Russian court,” responded the Deputy to the court.
The consideration lasted for four days. At the meeting, the court appointed Ms. Savchenko free public defender. Then in court there was a private lawyer of the suspect, after another couple of lawyers.
We will remind, Nadezhda Savchenko is suspected of preparation of terrorist acts and coup in Ukraine. On March 22, Parliament removed from MS Savchenko diplomatic immunity. The next day the court sent her in custody.
