The Russian foreign Ministry has promised the mirror to answer expulsions by Greece of Russian diplomats
Moscow. July 11. INTERFAX.RU — Moscow will respond to the expulsion of two Russian diplomats from Greece, say in the foreign Ministry.
“According to the established practice in similar cases should mirror response”, — told reporters Wednesday the Agency.
Foreign intelligence service (SVR), in turn, has refrained from comments in connection with reports about the expulsion from Athens of the Russian diplomats.
Earlier today the Greek newspaper “Kathimerini” reported that Athens decided to expel two Russian diplomats and two to deny entry. They were accused of meddling in the internal Affairs of the country and national security issues of the Greek state.
According to the newspaper, Greek authorities accuse Russian diplomats in trying the collection and dissemination of information and the bribery of public officials, including in regard to such sensitive domestic issues, as the agreement between Greece and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia around the name of the neighbouring state.
