Age of women retiring in the bill can reduce up to 60 years

INTERFAX.RU — the Bill on raising the retirement age will not undergo major changes for the first reading in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and in considering amendments, the threshold of retirement of women may be lowered, have informed “Interfax” on Wednesday a source in the Russian Parliament.

However, according to him, when discussing the amendments “parameters for retirement can be adjusted”.
“Discusses a variant in which the release time women’s pensions can be reduced by two to three years to 60 years,” the source said. He stressed that “no final decision yet, and much will depend on the discussion document on the expert level.”
Several members familiar with the process of working on a legislative initiative of the government, in an interview with “Interfax” also said that the bill will be amended. “Perhaps, in the decree of the state Duma, which will be adopted in the first reading, we present the main directions of work on this bill in preparation for the second reading — it will fall,” — said one of interlocutors of the Agency.
Another source said the “real opportunity to reduce the demand level for the age of retirement of women from 63 to 60 years.”
According to him, chances for adjusting the position of the draft law, under which the right of retirement two years ahead will get having the big insurance experience — 45 years (men) and 40 years (women).
