French artist left in the streets ethnic “carpets” (photo)

With his art he wants to show the fusion of cultures and nationalities in the modern world.

Street artist from Paris Arthur-Louis Ignore, also known as Ali, in his work, have preference for beautiful ethnic patterns. Inspired by Indian mandalas and architecture of Islam, Ali adorns the walls of houses, roads, fences and lampposts in intricate designs.

One of the new series of his work called “Carpets.” Right on the pavement with white paint, he paints small mats or huge paintings, several meters in length, decorating them with traditional Oriental ornaments.

Their “carpets” Ali is left on the streets of several cities in France and Finland.
