Russia began work on the creation of the module for landing astronauts on the moon
MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. Rocket and space Corporation “Energia” started the development of a module for landing astronauts on the moon, according to the annual report of the Corporation.
“Work began on the formation of technical shape of a lunar takeoff and landing complex, the delivery of which to the lunar orbit will be used rocket heavy class”, — the document says.
It is noted that the elements of landing of the complex will be delivered to the international lunar station, Deep Space Gateway in a disassembled form, where it will undergo final Assembly, storage and maintenance.
“The station Gateway will allow you to learn the basic technology to stay of the crew in conditions of deep space and perform the first mission to the moon automatic and manned spacecraft, as well as develop the technologies and items in preparation for manned missions to Mars”, — stated in the message.
