Over the major cities of Russia created a continuous radar field
The chief of radio engineering armies (RTV) aerospace forces major General Andrew Coban was told that all the largest cities of Russia now covers a continuous radar field. It can quickly detect low-flying targets, including drones.
The head of the PTB said that the priority is the creation of the radar field and control the air space in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. He said that in the Arctic expanded the group of RTV, and now it is improving and increasing.
Also, Mr. Coban told about the equipment of Radiotechnical troops. According to him, they are now equipped with modern and advanced weaponry to 70%.
“We focused on re-equipping troops with new complexes and automation tools. Complexes that are able to automatically exercise control over the manner of use of airspace,” said Andrew Coban. He added that this problem “has already been implemented in the Moscow area of responsibility.”
