Ukrainian media have disclosed the identity of “citizen of the T”, a suspect in the case Babchenko
KIEV, June 18. /TASS/. The Ukrainian edition of “Country” on Monday released the name and photo of “citizen of the T”, which, according to investigators involved in the case of the “assassination” of a journalist Arkady Babchenko. According to a source in law enforcement bodies, the man’s name is Taras Stelmashenko.
June 15, Deputy chief of the head investigative Department of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Bogdan Tivodar reported that security forces detained a Ukrainian citizen, who allegedly were exercises in Rostov-on-don, “aimed at organization of terrorist acts”, in particular, according to the SBU, to address the “potential victims list 47”.
The evening of 29 may police in Kiev reported that living in Ukraine of the Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko was gunned down in his home almost a day he was presumed dead. Hrytsak then also said that due to the re-enactment of the assassination, SBU managed to get a list of 30 potential victims. Later, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko said that the list includes 47 people.
