Director of the hydrometeorological center Roman Vilfand, which on 13 June marks 70 years, is leaving his post, which he held since 2001, and goes to work as a scientific head of the organization. This is Vilfand told TASS on Friday.

He reminded that by law the age limit of the Director of the Institute may be 65 years, and in special cases — at the request of the academic Council and staff and with the approval of the employer is to reach 70 years, but no more.
“I think that it is right and fair,” he said.
