Moscow. June 7. INTERFAX.RU — President Vladimir Putin said that the restrictions imposed by the West against Russian big business, are a big mistake, because they undermine trust among entrepreneurs.

According to him, “all these limitations, the prosecution of the business in the end what will they undermine the trust business, not only in our country.”

The President reminded that he had warned the Russian businessmen about the possibility of problems in the UK and encouraged them to keep their assets in Russia.

“About representatives of Russian big business. I said, and a few years ago, at a public meeting with representatives of our business. However, it sounded quite rude. I will not reproduce verbatim what I said”, — Putin said Thursday during a “Straight line”.

“But I was warned that this development that we face today, perhaps. And alerting, recommended in his time to our business to hold, firstly, their capital in the homeland, in Russia, to keep the capital where they are earned, use them for development of the Russian economy”, — said the President of Russia.

So he answered the question concerning the situation faced, in particular, the Russian businessman Roman Abramovich in the UK.
