Tuva opened an exhibition of art works of Sergei Shoigu
KRASNOYARSK, June 6 — RIA Novosti. Residents and guests of Tuva until the end of June will be able to visit the exhibition of works by Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who is represented in the national Museum named after Aldan-maadyr in Kyzyl, told RIA Novosti the representative of the Museum Maria Naxal.
According to her, on Tuesday the Museum held a Grand opening of the artistic exhibition “invincible and legendary”, dedicated to 100-anniversary of the worker-peasant red army. In the opening ceremony, in addition to Shoigu, was attended by the head of Republic of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool and Director of the national Museum Kaadyr-ool, Bicheldei, representatives of the ministries of defence of other States. After that Shoigu was shown to the guests. For residents and guests of Tuva exhibition opened on Wednesday.
Naxal said that Shoigu has long been interested in graphics and carvings. The Museum presents paintings, executed in the genres of drawings and paintings, vases and sculptures made from the roots of Tuvan cedars.
“Knowing about this hobby, the representatives of the Department of culture of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation left with the offer to exhibit his work at the Museum. Today is the first day of the exhibition takes Museum visitors. I think that will be a hype. Mr Shoigu, we can say, our national hero. Expect a lot of interest among residents and guests of the Republic”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
