Bortnikov called nonsense statements of Kiev about the involvement of Russia in murder of Babchenko

FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov considers untenable version of the Ukrainian authorities about the possible involvement of Russian secret services to murder of the journalist Arkady Babchenko.

“Nonsense. The impression is that they are delusional. Let understand each other”, — said Bortnikov, the Agency “Interfax”.

The FSB Director answered the question of whether to compare Babchenko murder with the poisoning of the former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal, British Salisbury. “Yes, I think so. Pure provocation”, — said Bortnikov.

Russian journalist and writer Arkady Babchenko was shot on the doorstep of his apartment in Kiev in the evening on may 29. According to the Kiev police, the murder is connected with professional activity Babchenko. Later the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman said about the possible involvement in the murder of Russian security services.
