Under U.S. sanctions were more than 400 Russian companies and 200 citizens. This was stated by the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
“US sanctions are totally unfriendly, we have got more than 400 legal entities and about 200 citizens of our country, and we must do everything in order to protect the interests of our state, to ensure the security of the country, to guarantee the rights and freedoms of our citizens”, — quotes Mr. Volodin “RIA Novosti”.
Today the state Duma will consider in the first reading the bill on the counter. It spells out 16 measures to introduce the President and the government in response to sanctions the U.S. and other countries. These include a ban on imports from the United States and other countries of medicines, agricultural, alcohol and tobacco products. It is expected that the bill will pass its first reading.
