The daughter and the assistant to the President Ivanka trump and Minister of Finance of the United States Steven Mnuchin removed on Monday the veil from the plaque at the new Embassy in Jerusalem. The opening ceremony of the U.S. Embassy translates currently, the office of the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu in Facebook.
On the Israeli side, the ceremony was attended by the leadership of the country in full: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin, speaker of Knesset (Parliament) Yuli Edelstein. The U.S. delegation is headed by first Deputy Secretary John Sullivan.
The decision to move the U.S. Embassy from tel Aviv to Jerusalem received 6 December last year, the head of the White house Donald trump right after the same day it announced the recognition by Washington of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The trump at a ceremony in Jerusalem has not arrived.
