MOSCOW, may 12 — RIA Novosti. NASA has published a video that shows the solar activity. The recording was made companion of the solar dynamics Observatory (SDO) in early may.

The video was filmed using deep ultraviolet range, making it visible to an extensive “coronal hole” in the solar disk.

Our Sun-watching satellite saw a coronal hole on the Sun on May 2-4 ? Coronal holes — a perfectly normal occurrence — appear as dark areas when seen in certain wavelengths of extreme ultraviolet light, like in these images. https://t.co/HYZePndwpB pic.twitter.com/QtKFwfld0Z

Under the “coronal hole” refers to a darker region of the solar corona with high speed solar wind. Reduced brightness “coronal holes” associated with the mass departure of the plasma from these regions into interplanetary space.
