Putin thanked government members at the meeting in the Kremlin
MOSCOW, may 6 — RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin gathered in the Kremlin members of the government of the Russian Federation and thanked for the work, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.
“Later Sunday evening, the President met with members of the government”, — said Peskov.
“In his address to him, Putin thanked all members of the Cabinet, employees of ministries and departments, government office for the achieved significant results in solving tasks faced by Russia,” — said the spokesman.
“The head of state stressed that the past six years (since the formation of the government — ed.) were quite intense, filled with new challenges and extraordinary events — both in the country and in the world”, — said Peskov.
He conveyed the President’s words, noting that “from the government was necessary hardness and consistency, willingness to take responsibility and implement the decisions taken on the basis of modern approaches with all the members of the government showed”.
“The Cabinet have worked well — like a real team, and in this, as Putin said, the great merit of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev”, — said Peskov.
According to the representative of the Kremlin, the head of state also reminded that the key directions of the government were associated with the implementation of the may decrees of the President.
